Well, for most society it would be an inconvenience, but i would go to hawaii, where I live. The economy here is not even so broken, and I'd say crime is worse in the mainland, considering all the murders. Plus, Hawaii have many economic beaches and such. Housing can be expensive...

I too am nurse and been looking into the states. It depends on what you resembling. The states is vast with variable climates and the inhabitants and attitudes change from state to state. Not everyone is narrow minded! Most realise that the states need knowledgeable and skilled people to fill the shortfall in correct industries ie nursing.

The fact that you are skilled and willing to work and become part of the community will jump a long way with most American citizens from my experience. I have spent plentifully of time in the states. I like Colarado, California can be a bit overpowering people learned, New york if you like cities. I have to agree with the woman who mentioned Hawaii, some great hospitals and units and great people.

Do your research, contact hospitals and nursing agencies that is what i own done and dont forget you have to pass the state exams.
good luck
saline lake city....all of those, except those pesky mormons... but they are nice people. also huge shortage of nurses around here
almost anywhere in states has a position to be a nurse. but to find all those things is almost impossible. Bremerton washington, parts of oregon would be the closest
Move to Atlanta, GA. Pay is excellent for Nurses and the weather is never desperate. It has everything you're looking for above. Source(s): Lived there and Loved it
