Obtaining a US Visa...............?
I believe that it costs the US Government $10 000 to immigrate someone to the US. Which is why the employer who is going to employ you in america has to prove not plentiful other americans can do the job which the employer requires you to do. Is it possible to just pay the US Government $10 000 yourself so they can supply you beside a US Visa.

how does it cost the government 10000?? where did you get it from? i other thought that we pay the governement. like we pay for visas, adjustment and so forth... plus, if the person immigrates legally, he/she pays taxes, when gets a work. and among those we pay ss and medicare, which we might see if we manage to retire here.... which is G-d knows when and how the immigration is going to shake-up... so, i am not sure how the government spend anything on LEGAL immigrant.
now, there be proposals to charge certain amount illegal aliens and give them status. and some debate were about 10000....
if you have satisfactory money to show to immigration, they will give you a visa. you can come as tourist, guest, student, and even worker, if you are really skilled.
of course you cant just pay cheque US governement and supply yourself with anything. but you can apply as everybody else.... they will let you in if you are knowledgeable, not broke, and never been deported....
