Legal Resident and food stamps?
right now I am a Legal Resident. can i get food stamps if am a legal Resident I be married to a U.S Citizen for 9 years. But I never passed the U.S. Citizen test. can i become a us Citizen without the test.

You cannot get naturalize as US Citizen unless you pass the test. It is one of the requirement becoming US Citizen.
And if you become a public charge, depending on the government's aid while you are PR, there is a kismet that you will be denied again for US Citizen.
I'd suggest that you study hard and pass the interview to become US Citizen first. Good luck.

I assume you should be able too if you already have your residency, the only road you wouldnt be allowed to is if you still have a sponsor,me and my husband have been married a year and he have a green card but his sponsorship is for 3 years,, but that only last 3 years or 40q in social securtiy which ever comes first and since you hold been here 9 years you should be good. the only time you are prohibited to is when you are still being sponsored
