Why should we NOT spend more monney on building stricter immigration law?

were doing a debate in conservatory and im on the side that we should not spend more money on building stricter immigration laws.
and i just want to here opinions on why we shouldnt. :]

And in a time of war and recession, who's pocket is it supposed to come out of? Ask your teacher this for me please. This will also abet your side. Good luck! Because it will really hurt the US economy which relies on immigration for cheap & highly skilled labor from abroad.
The problem isn't next to immigration laws.
The problem is with our trade and monetary laws.
Not solitary has NAFTA put some US workers out of work, but it has really devastated farming surrounded by Mexico.
Also, because of the biggest scam in US history called the Federal Reserve -- that has the fitness to print money out of nothing (no longer backed by gold) this should cause prices within the market to go up.
Thanks to the outsourcing of jobs to by and large China, the goods in Wal-Mart, Target, etc. are kept low.
Of course low skill service sector jobs and trade type job (construction) are easily filled by immigrants looking for work (who've be screwed by NAFTA).
Note that college tuition and medical services continue to rise. Low skill immigrants can't fill those job.
The answer is that we should abolish the Federal Reserve. If we're going to print money out of nothing, let the US government do it in need owing interest back to the central bank (Fed). Or conceivably go back to a gold standard. (Only if adjectives the gold is really in Ft Knox!)

The unendorsed immigrants can get around every current law; they already are. And the one decree that is popular, building a wall across the border, will fail.
Because its a very graceful one to get around. The illegal immigrants will purely pull the "Cuba maneuver," i.e. they will buld rafts and enter the US through beaches in other states besides Arizona, Texas, and California. We would excess all that money, and not even come close to slowing them down.

We should not spend more money on the immigration laws because.....
We want that kind of crime rate contained by this country.
We want Azatlan to become a reality.
The North American Union under the command of Mexico is a swell idea.
We adjectives want our wages lowered by at least 30% coupled to about a 50% unemployment rate.
We don't resembling the United States.
Because eventually zilch will be done about it. Immigrants legal or illegal are here to stay. If you can't defeat them join them. Immigrants are coming acros the border 1000 a day.. The law doesn't seem to be to be a deteriant... Enforcement -- like a barb wire fense and machine guns may cause a difference --
Because the current politicians are not doing anything to enforce the ones we have. The presidential candidate are pro illegal immigrant. So why spend more money for something that basically doesn't exist. Our lawmakers noticeably don't think it's a problem. Otherwise they would be doing their jobs. shouldn't? I think you're on the wrong side of the debate. The motivation I say this is because if we spend MORE money to enforce the laws and get illegals out, later more of our crime rates will go down, and the big thing, the welfare system won't be abused, nor the medical system. Basically our tax money will walk to help fellow Americans, not illegals. We'll be SAVING money from educating their children and taking care of them, and all of the money we spent will be put to polite use.
So think again.
The current laws are nearly strict enough. We just enjoy to enforce them. We don't need to "build" more laws. We only call for to enforce the ones we have.
