Why dont the US & the UK plain their respective borders for respectively other?
Why dont America and the United Kingdom open their respective borders to each other citizens...come on...they have a perfect enough relationship to be in Iraq together...so why not allow citizens of both countries to live and work in the other?

I am English and I would much rather be a state of the USA than a state of Europe if we can't be state on our own.
NO, we within the UK cannot support more people. I have been to America and I can put in the picture you alot of Americans want to move here. Because they think it is this great place. Most of them think we use the Euro.
I do see your point, contained by fact it is harder for an honest USA citizen to actually stay in the UK than pretty much any one else contained by the world, I would not go as far to say that either country should overt up their borders to each other but at the very least formulate it easier for each other.
But the other poster does make a very valid point almost just about anyone can get their hand on a UK passport these days and trust me you would not want half the dregs of society that we get.
