Hi,American friends, How copious you American own your own house?

mean that you needn't to rent a house to live. I just curious, I am thinking if I immigrate to USA, maybe I can't afford a house.
Answers:
Yes of course dear I have a house.
We've get one we live in and another on the beach that we rent most of the summer and use for vacations during the holidays.

Most Americans, who are not foolish beside their buying habits, especially buying on credit, can afford a house.
Yes, I have a house in the suburbs of Long Island, New York. It's pretty perfect here but they are expensive. If you have money, now is the good time to do it.
If you don't own a house in the country where on earth you live now chances are you won't be able to afford one over here.

Same story.... it still take a lot of money and a good job to afford a house unless as you would expect you inherited it.
This isn't an immigration query.
I own my house, no mortgages, loans or liens. It be a fixer upper for $65k in 1990. I paid it off surrounded by 10 years. Anyway, yeah, now there are a lot of bargain out there. Good Luck
The vast majority of people start out renting for a few years until that time they buy a house. It takes a lot of money and good credit to obtain a decent house. But if you get a good charge and save your money, you can get a house eventually.
I own my own house, but I owe some money on it still.
Another 12-15 years ( at my current early payment schedule), and it will be paid for - free and clear.

I love America!
I don't houses are not worth it in my opinion they just maintain you a slave to the Mortgage lender for 30 Years
times are tuff down here... dont trust me DONT
Hello!

You should come to the US.
I am renting right very soon, because the house market is dropping and by next year all the houses will be really cheap!
