Currently taking 2 years from USA. And afterwards after you are admitted to Canada, you MUST live in Canada for 3 years before you can apply to be a citizen. That is currently taking in the region of 12 months to be processed, so altogether it takes you 6 years to legally become a Canadian citizen.
if you are NOT currently legal within the USA - then you MUST get back into legally recognized status OR go to some place where you ARE legal.
The same style you did when you came to the USA, cross the border illegally.
Check out provincial nominee programs at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/p… to see what form of jobs you can do that they really want.
Then look for those jobs in those provinces at http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/
Then attain a temporary work permit, come over and start working and negociate with your employer to sponsor you for lifelong residency.

You involve to meet the requirements to immigrate to Canada. There's a point system that you need to pass to feature for immigration. You need at least 67 points to quality for immigration.
You can rob the test here (this is not official, this is to see if you get at least possible 67 points):
http://www.workpermit.com/canada/points_calculator.htm
Again, you need at least 67 points. Do not lie on the audition to make yourself pass, because you wouldn't be able to lie back when you have to present real proof to the immigration officer. You need to enjoy enough money to immigrate to Canada, you will need to present proof of that.
If you're a Mexican citizen on a temporary visa contained by the United States, you need to go back to Mexico to apply for immigration to Canada. If you’re Mexican citizen on a US green card (permanent resident) you run the test to make sure you qualify for immigration (67 points) and then apply. If you are an unsanctioned immigrant in the United States, you will not be eligible for immigration to Canada as the Canadian government considers that a criminal offense, which will bar you from eligibility to immigrate to Canada. Your final option is applying for asylum, that would most likely be denied.
You can move to canada on a Tn visa if you qualify. You can visit Don't Be An Illegal Immigrant.com they hold a list of all of the people that qualify for a TN visa underneath the NAFTA agreement between the US, Mexico and Canada. Source(s): http://www.dontbeanillegalimmigrant.com
HOPEFULLY you're one of the few who are in our country legally. IF not, I suggest you be honest and forthright and apply for permissible citizenship in whatever country you decide to live surrounded by. Otherwise, drive south.
You have to apply as a Mexican. It doesn't matter if you got within the USA. You can't get a USA Passport so your Mexican at the border. Green Cards don't count to Canada.
