No. There are oodles things to blame for the current condition of our economy, and illegal immigrants in actual fact help our economy. If you study economics, then look into how governing body taxes people, and finally examine exactly how many benefits are not available to immigrants, you'll find they sure don't hurt us by being here.

They are partially to blame for the overall cutback collapse in the United States.
They are mostly to blame for the economy collapse in California. They don't wage income taxes. They don't pay into social security. They get free medical comfort because we have laws stipulating that anyone who goes to an emergency room must receive treatment, even if they can't take-home pay for it. They pilfer our social services. They overrun our public school system and demand that kids be taught surrounded by languages other than English, and then those kids founder the State exams anyhow. They try to get away with not paying for their children on public buses. They find one person who is trial and eligible for low-income-housing and then they use that person to get an apartment that they cram 5 family into. And, last but certainly not least, the biggest problem that ails California within regards to illegal immigration is: they are bad parents who angle their anchor babies to be in gangs who stab and shoot eachother, which puts the cost of ambulance/helicopter rides and trauma center care on the shoulders of taxpayers.
No. Those responsible for this rotten cutback are stock holders. It is the stock holders who send jobs overseas so that the corps they invest in will offer them a higher dividend (profit on their investments.)
This happens because the corp saves much money when it can compensate a foreign worker $2.00 a day without benefits rather than paying an American worker $10.00 an hour next to benefits for doing the same job. The money saved go into dividends for the stock investors, most of whom are very rich to begin with.
You won't hear almost any of this from the news media, because those corps and their employees enjoy stock investments in other corps and don't want to upset their cushy situation by telling us the truth about the true cause of this econ. mess.

Keep in mind there are 44 million Hispanics in this counts according to the Census. (The Census counts everyone and lumps them together.) 12 million are informal aliens. The illegal aliens have children that are called anchor babies, and nearby are easily 8 million of those. In addition there are the complicated core I.D.s that may never be discovered and altogther, as a guess, there are some 20 million Hispanic citizens, and 24 million illegal aliens and they are all Hispanic.
