Can anyone afford me an impression of what the standard average wage is contained by Britain at the moment?

Purely in the spirit of helping - i would point out the Minimum Wage has lately gone up to lb5.77 an hour in the UK. (Source, a woman petrol station manager that i know).

The results of the 2007 Annual Survey of Hours and Earnings (ASHE) show that median weekly pay for full-time team in the UK grew by 2.9 per cent in the year to April 2007 to reach lb457. Median proceeds of full-time male employees was lb498 per week surrounded by April 2007; for women the median was lb394.

Minimum wage is about lb4.40 an hour, I don't know what that add up to each year.. If you have qualifications afterwards you stand a better chance of getting a higher paid brief, but if you have no qualifications or past experience, later you would receive a minimum wage of around lb4.40. Peanuts. depend so much on your abilities and qualifications. OK a self employed plumber or electrician might make lb800 to lb1000 a week, But a more menial assignment would be more like lb6 to lb8 an hour. but suppose average is about lb500 a week
The average gross relatives income is supposed to be about lb34,000 but thats a total joke, I don't know anyone whos on that! Most of my friends with kids enjoy a family income of about lb18,000.
Where I live its hard to find a brief which pays more than lb14,000, even if you're educated. Like a previous poster says, a self-employed plumber etc might make more than this.
And contrary to what Amie say (I dont think they know what they're talking about) minimum wage is actually lb5.77 and hour and plenty of associates who DO have qualifications are working for this or not much more! There is a glut of graduates surrounded by the UK and not enough graduate jobs for them to go to so heaps of them end up working in lb7 an hour or less job just to pay the bills. Plus many employer just don't offer more than minimum wage these days, they know they can acquire away with it because there are so many populace in the UK looking for jobs (with all the migration from the EU etc).

6 months back in the US. If you're gone more than half the time they'll confiscate your green card. You any want to be a permanent resident in the US or you do not.

And are there Excessive fines by judges against migrant workers detained in public for supposedly violate Police and Good Government Regulations ? jail, prison, given passage to sell narcotics contained by the US...hmmmmm go figure..
