Should U.S. govt. throw the book at U.S. Citizens/Lawful Permanent Residents for aiding dubious immigrant?
You think a $500 fine or 3 months in jail would be satisfactory to break the back of the pro-illegal immigrant supporters…
It should be allot more than that
Yes they should be fine but more afterwards that it needs to be something that will stop them for good.If you only afford an employer a $500 fine and he has say 20 employees working for him he will still ruminate it would be worth it but if you hit him where it counts in the pocket book he will stop.I think something resembling $5000 a head as you must hit these people that hire them where it counts contained by the pocketbook and I am all for fine even the housewife who uses them for housework or babysitting or even mowing the grass. If we didn't give them jobs and welfare they would stay where on earth they belong in their own country and come here the legal way.Really this is the one and only way to solve this problem now this is only my feelings.
A $500 fine and/or 3 months within jail is not "throwing the book" at someone; it's a drop in the bucket. People who aid and abet illegals should do hard time and be fined surrounded by the thousands of dollars.
No. Instead, I like the idea of the 250,000 dollar fine, and 5 years within prison for each illegal they aid and abet. This of course includes the business's and our governing body officials who disregard the law.
Thomasina, $5,000 is already the fine that is suppose to be imposed.
It is Human smuggling...
$5000.00 per Day per illegal immigrant...
Plus jail time... Source(s): Retired Marine...
Yep, right along with businesses that employ illegal aliens. Enough is plenty and it is high time the U.S. government take keeping of the U.S. tax paying citizens instead of every 3rd world ingrate.
The government does not enforce it own rules so why start with the citizens> Let them start with their own ICE first.*
Yes , but a $10,000 fine and a year within jail would work a whole lot better.
Yeah, they should throw "the book" at their bank book, but mandatory jail time in feed. pen. would make it more convincing.Because $$ is really not so hard to come by-for businesses hiring illegals, but jail time would form little more "persuasive" government`s seriousness of tackling this illegals problem.
yes i think they should, I purely wish our politicians in the uk had the ball to address the same problem here.
Yep
Make it 5,000 and you've got a deal.
Yes they should. Go after anyone who knowingly aids an wicked in any way!!
Why would the elected representatives waste their time on an insignificant problem? A better solution would be to throw all you ignorant bigots on some island near one coconut and a lighter......
Answers: Yes I do! they are just as guilty as the businesses.... but all must be punished, not freshly the citizens to make a difference. Not sure those punishments would be enough of a deterrant, but its a good place to start.
New for you! it's already a ruling.

We've decided instead of going the Fiance Visa route, we're going to get married, and then directory for the spousal option which I'm guessing is a spouse visa. I don't know all the details but I know that it's one of the least expensive routes, I'm supposed to record on his behalf,...

I'm currently 19 years old, and I attend college here in the States. This coming summer, I plan on visiting my home country for a month (China). I am on a H4 visa right in a minute, and I want to ask is it easy to get my H4 visa restamped to come back to the U.S.? Because I...
