A friend who be deported form the Us?

a friend who was deported form the Usabout 15 years ago for an illegal activity(spent time in prison) is immediately engaged to a us citizen. Can he come back if he was to marry her?
Answers:
yea. its possible but it will take a very awfully long time.
It's possible. It is going to depend upon the crime for which he was convicted. If it was drug trafficking, no, he's not eligible for an immigrant visa. If it be theft, yes, he might be able to come back if they approve a waiver of the ground of inadmissibility that applies to him.

If they bring back married, they should keep in mind the possibility that he will not be able to receive an immigrant visa to live contained by the U.S.

If you had included the name of the crime which got him arrested and deported, we could hold been more specific.
I wouldn't think so. Perhaps the citizen should just focus about going to the country of the boyfriend.
NO, he has a criminal register and will not be approved. US citizen should marry and stay with this criminal in his country. Marriage does not mean he will automatically be allowed spinal column in states, if a felon, he will never be allowed back in, luckily.
Either passageway, we don't want any more criminals in the US. He needs to stay in his country and she can move in that if she really wants to marry the guy for love, and not convenience.
Very doubtful, as he has a criminal record and be deported.

Even if he marries a US citizen and she petitions for him, he will probably be denied a visa to immigrate. Source(s): Fed LEO
Yes I think so, he must check with the US immigration office within his place!
Not automatically. There is still a long process for immigration.
