Can I Apply for U visa?
If my ex boyfriend plead no contest to a assault on a female charge. Can I apply for a U visa. I tried to use battered immigrant project on first husband, but when I met new boyfriend i figured bright boyfriend would marry me and get me legal. Could not use this for boyfriend because I had to be married. (battered immigrant project). I hold no pictures of abuse but it was my word against his and he just took a plea my legal representative told me. He just paid a fine and that was it. One entry though, my ex boyfriend and I are going through a custody battle and he found out I tried battered immigrant project on first husband, he told my first husband. I was trying to get citizenship because he be to cheap. But can I apply for a U visa and will it work.. I have two daughters(3,1) can this help me

You are not clear as to what your status is at this time.Are you illegal? Did your ex husband file for you? What give or take a few your children? What is their status? In order to get a good answer you must distribute better information. If you just want to use a "Battered Immigrant" route you are just making it hard for those individuals who are truly abused, the ones who be trafficked here for slavery.
I think adjectives u need to do is Apply for a fee wavier. Do u have a green card? If u do, u don't have need of permission from no one to apply for a US Visa, u just own to be in the country for over 5 years. k
