Can you take back a recent specific instance when the culture of America clashed near your original culture?
Answers:
Yes very strongly against my native alemanic culture.
It is a magnificent land but I really cannot get along with the individuals. I moved back and now live with race sharing my values in Switzerland.
For N - I tried looking up the word alemanic and did not find it in the English Dictionary. There is no such point as an alemanic. Do you not wish to be taken seriously?
My native culture is from India. I am now an American Citizen and would live nowhere else on land. America should and does welcome those of us who endeavor to assimilate and be part of society and not try to change it to break apart and remain loyal to our homeland. An immigrant should brand every effort to belong and not expect Americans to bow down to us. Immigrants are only good if they can be a supportive contestant of the new country they choose.
My native culture is American...whats your point?
Then you should get a lot of answers since adjectives of the third world cultures clash with ours.
born and raised in an asian country, we were trained (and heavily reprimanded if we didn't follow) to ring up anybody who is older than us untie, uncle, older sis or older bro (in our own poetry of course) even if we are not related as a sign of respect. when i entered the workforce here in the US, it felt severely awkward to call my 60-year old co-worker by her first name. i used address adjectives my filipino co-workers as auntie, uncle, etc. but i learned to just do away with it very soon. it may be fine outside work but it feels unprofessional in the workplace.
