Why are at hand so copious chinese immigrant comming to america?
most of the immigrants comming to california are chinese, but why are they coming if their own country has a booming economy and an increasing standard of living

My husband works in IT. He says in that are a lot of Chinese people working in his company on H1 visas. They be basically imported here to work. They are very nice society and very smart! Have you been to China? You can barely breath. tolerate alone even move around because of so many people.
The US is still a free country, and Communism is still oppression. Plus, have you heard going on for the human rights issues in that country? The US is still a desirable place to live, despite our problems. California is also a great melting pot for all immigrant. There is a sense of home, but it is also America. there coming over here because this is where the money is plus you know u.s. is very lucky we enjoy so much freedom that other countryies want its not funny and they want some of that freedom and also they having a big issue over there about at hand human rights alright peace aka spider-man

That manner China is less free than a religious theocracy.
Because it's really not that great in China despite what their hokey government would have ancestors believe.
But hey, look at the bright side: the Chinese keep to themselves and work hard. Unlike other communities I could name, within California or elsewhere.
China still is behind surrounded by standard of living especially in rural areas. Overcrowded and polluted. They are coming for the other half of our jobs that we haven't sent nearby yet.

The US has always be called "Gold Mountain" - a place to get easy money, and lots of it.
2. It is a prestige piece among the younger and more affluent. When they return they get much better jobs and more money.
3. Triads make billions of dollars smuggling contained by illegal aliens -- they pay up to $60,000 in US dollars surrounded by cash in advance to be smuggled within. This is where the big easy money lies.
4. The Chinese gov't sends a lot of relations here for school, business - and they are here to spy, steal trade secrets and technology.
They do not come here because they want to have another kid (unless its a ticket to welfare) because they can (and do) do that in China. I have personally see families with as many as 9 children, adjectives born after the "one child policy" was instituted. When I was in China surrounded by 1990, they published their 1990 census results and reported that their "baby count" was sour by over 100 million - they had 100 million-plus more babies born since the 1980 census than they thought had be born between 1980-1990.
Chain migration: once one comes in, they bring in all their parents, siblings and their spouses, aunts & uncles, nieces and nephews -- the unharmed clan.
"Communism" is meaningless to them - the Chinese culture revolves solely around money.
